There is a national shortage of blood bottles, which is expected to last until at least 17th September 2021. We have therefore been told by the NHS to postpone all non-urgent blood tests.
Our clinicians will be reviewing all booked blood test appointments to determine those that can safely be delayed. It may be that we contact you to re-arrange your blood test for a few weeks time. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience whilst we put in place systems to safely manage this issue. Unfortunately this is something that is completely out of our control and we hope this won’t impact on too many patients.
