  • Phone us Monday to Friday at 8.30am.
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist. We are open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days

  • Phone us Monday to Friday at 8.30am.
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist. We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm.
  • Use the NHS App to book a screening test or vaccination.

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.

We ask patients to book appointments with their own doctor, whenever they are available, as we feel that personal lists improve patient care. However patients are free to consult whichever doctor they feel can help best at the time, although they may have to wait longer to see their chosen Practitioner.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:

  • by phone
  • face to face at the surgery

Appointments by phone can be more flexible and often means the doctor or nurse can help you sooner.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

Please phone the surgery on 01797223230 to cancel appointments.

Home Visits

If you feel you need a home visit please try to telephone the surgery before 10.30a.m. to give us time to organise our day’s schedule.

If you need help when we are closed

For out of hours emergencies please telephone Rye (01797) 223230. Alternatively, advice is available from Out of Hours 111.

If you are confronted by a serious problem, such as severe chest pains, severe bleeding, severe breathing difficulties or collapse, call an ambulance (999) before calling the surgery.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us:

  • If there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond.
  • If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email.
