Some patients have received a letter from the NHS advising that they require a Covid third dose. This is being offered as an extra ‘top-up’ dose for people with a severely weakened immune system. These people may be less protected than the wider population, as they may not have generated a full immune response to the first two doses. The letter states to contact your GP surgery but, unfortunately, we are not able to access the system and book this for you. This part of the vaccination programme is currently being carried out in Hastings. Please call 01424 236260 to book the appointment. You need to take your third dose letter with you. If the Third Dose Programme does become available locally we will update our website with the information.
